  • Hi Anuj, It's our pleasure to have you as our guest,, Please introduce yourself to our audience
My name is Anuj Agarwal. I'm the Founder of Feedspot

  • What differentiates feedspot from feedly and other competitors? What's that one thing for which people shouldn't leave Feedspot?
Feedly is our competitor. We provide most of the things Feedly provides. But only a handful of people like to consume content using a web/mobile app reader. We offer a email digest service which delivers new updates from all your favorite websites in one digest email every morning.

  • There's a common issue that feedspot sends personal invite mail to all our email contacts without notifying users, What do you say about this and how can we disable it if we want to?
We don't have this feature since last 2 years. We turned it off in 2016 as it caused confusion among our users

  • How do you select blogs for posts like "Best blogs to follow"? What's the criteria you used to choose the rankings?
Feedspot editorial team extensively searches on Google and social media websites to find the best blogs and ranks them based on several factors such as
1.Blog content quality
2.Post consistency
3.Age of the blog
4.Average number of shares on social sites for your blog posts
5.Traffic of your blog and more..

  • What are your views on Blogging? How can a new blog can get more natural backlinks?
Creating good valuable content is the only way to make your blog popular

  • What's on your mind about the future of feedspot?
We are just focused on providing an RSS reader service and be the best in this domain.

  • If you were to give a piece of advice to youngsters who dreams to become Entrepreneurs, what would it be?
Fail fast.

  • One last question, What's your view on our blog? Our blog was featured in "Top 25 Indian Digital marketing blogs", What's that one aspect that made you to choose our blog though we don't have decent traffic.
You have a really good blog on the subject. Your blog was discoverable by our editorial team on google and when we compared its content with the pool of other blogs on the same subject, we found yours interesting and worth featuring in our list.
